Consignment/resale is the service we provide to you and includes selecting, preparing, pricing, displaying, tracking and selling your items for you. The end result is that you are rid of items that you no longer have a need for and at the same time, you receive a portion of the item's selling price once the item sells.
What is my portion of the consignment once one of my items sell?
You will receive 40% of the item's final selling price.
What is the length of the consignment?
All items will have an expiration date of 8 weeks from the receipt of the accepted items. The expiration date for each item consigned will be documented on the consignor's receiving report.
How do I get paid for my items?
Come in any time during normal business hours. Your account balance is automatically updated as each item is sold. Whenever there's a balance you can either take the payout or use it as store credit.
What items do you accept for consignment?
All items will be checked for recalls prior to accepting them for consignment.
Equipment and gear must be less than 4 years old and include a manufacturer's identifying tag containing the model number and serial number where applicable.
Consignment Seasonal Calendar:
Swim Suits, Beach Attire, Sleeveless Shirts, Jeans, Pants, Shorts, Short Sleeve Shirts, Sandals, Sneakers, Sun Hats
Long sleeve Shirts, Jackets, Coats, Hats, Gloves, Jeans, Pants, Boots, Sneakers.
All unsold Halloween costumes are donated on the first Saturday of November, if not picked up.
All unsold Winter Holiday items are donated on the first Saturday of January, if not picked up.
What do I have to do to prepare my items for consignment?
No appointment necessary. Consignments accepted EVERY DAY ALL DAY, based on staff availability, unless prior arrangements are made. If you have several items or larger items, you might want to call us to make sure that 1) we can process your items in a reasonable amount of time while you wait and 2) that we are currently accepting and/or have space for the larger item(s).
What can I expect when I bring my items in for consignment/resale?
You will be asked to fill out and sign a consignor contract.
Drop and Wait: While you wait, we will go through your items and verify that 1) they meet our guidelines outlined in our Merchandise Guidelines document and 2) that we currently have a demand for the type of item(s) you are wishing to consign. The items that determine unsellable will be returned to you at that time. You will receive a copy of the receiving report with a count of the items that have been accepted for consignment.
Drop and Run: Once we have gone threw your items we will call you to pickup the "no thank you". You must return within 48hrs of drop, unless other arrangements have been made. Otherwise, your items your be donated to a local charity of out choice. Upon pick up you will be given a copy of your contract/receiving report.
Drop and Donate: You will drop off the items that you wish to consign. We will donate items that we determine unacceptable to a local charity of our choice. A electronic copy of your contract/receiving report save on our computer for your review at anytime.
Item pricing, entry into our inventory tracking system, and placement on the display floor are done at the discretion of Reruns at periodic intervals throughout the day. We do not do this while you wait.
How do you keep track of items I bring in?
We will provide you a copy of a receiving report with a summary/count of the items you bring in that are accepted for consignment. Each item will then later be entered into our inventory tracking system under your account and will receive an individual bar code tag with detailed identifying information.
How can I check to see if any of my items have sold?
You can either come by, call us, email us or Facebook us..
What if my items don't sell by the time my contract expires?
Items not sold by the contract expiration date are automatically forfeited to Reruns 4 Little Ones unless you notify us within 5 days of the end of the contract period that you would like to retrieve them. We require at least 3 days to pull your items and have them ready for you to pick up once you notify us.
